Zoom binoculars are a great innovation for many binocular users. They offer the ability to zoom in to very high magnifiaction on a small part of a scene. We can t make normal binoculars with such a high magnification as the field of view would be annoyingly small. But with zoom binoculars you can just go back down to low magnification to find your next target. You won t belive how good these are until you try a pair.
The zoom is controlled by a lever next to the right hand eyepice. You ll hear a lot of myths that zoom binoculars are optically inferior to fixed view. The vast majority of zoom binoculars sold in the UK have poor BAK-7 glass, subsize prisms and cheap ruby coatings - ours are vastly superior. We use top quality materials and the results speak for themselves.
These offer spectacular performance, especially at dawn or dusk. They have a sensible 10-30 zoom range and are perfect for bird watching.
They can be tripod mounted using our inexpensive L bracket (see Accessories) but are light enough to hand hold. These are an incredible set of binoculars you ll treasure for years!
